Support From Village of Olympia Fields Illinois

I am writing to offer my support to Wind Creek Hospitality application for a casino license for a site in East Hazel Crest and Homewood.

I, along with many of my colleagues in the region, have had the opportunity to review the details of the proposed site. While the location is what will help this site thrive, the easy access and potential to become a tourist destination is a selling point. But, as someone invested in our community and the region, I look for more than that when asked to consider providing my support to something of this magnitude.

In my opinion, what sets Wind Creek Hospitality apart from its competition is their desire and their record of helping the communities in which they invest by providing jobs and economic stability to the area. Their proposed Southland Public Benefit Fund has the power to change the lives of the young people who live here. I believe this will ultimately impact our state by providing educational opportunities through scholarships that will inspire the workforce of the future to come back to the region.
